where do you get it from, cant find it on coppermoose
I see you James! No worries sir …It will be a couple of weeks before i send something else to ya!
The only problem is that the crepe wool we see now is very much like camel hair, where as the hair on the 75 kirks is softer than mohair. Something still isn’t right. Dennis Beckstrom used the crepe wool on the db2’s and it’s nice but not the same. I’ve never seen shiny, soft crepe wool, but I do trust Bill Malone. It had to be a certain type of crepe wool that you don’t see when it’s offered in those braids.

_This probably has to do with the old vs new methods developed over the years to clean it or whatever…just a theory.
Also here is a link to some info that you can visit any time you may seek some info for this hair

I was told so many different things: Synthetic Silk, Yack, Camel Top, Camel Bottom and so on. I’m just glad we finally have the answer so at least this closes a topic and many, many questions about the hair type.
My question to you Billy Could you politely ask DPJR this. Is it possible that these guys used different types of hair on different runs based on, the fact that it strikes me, that Dp would have went with what is cheapest in bulk at the time? Also I am not sure how they are set up when they hair masks, but do they have all that hair all over the table with different types. Maybe other fibers could have gotten mixed in with certain batches?
