The 1-15 mask you returned to Harvey is completely legitimate. It was bought directly from CS by Billy Kirkus. Billy’s name is well known by halloween collectors if you don’t know who he is. I think this mask is better but that’s just my opinion.

Yeah, my CS piece was maybe the 2nd or 3rd one sold by CS until I told Sean Clark and he went down and purchased the rest up and re-sold them. (Sean had them make up special certificates for them and I got my certificate from Sean because they didn’t think about doing that until Sean brought that up.) CS did not market the 15 made for the film and I can’t remember exactly whom I heard it from originally…maybe Don Post?
If you had the chance to buy the one from Harvey and decided against it…you might want to re-consider that quickly because it’s the real deal.

Yea it was a great mask. It looked amazing, the hair was amazing I wasn’t doubting it. The stamp on the neck worried me. All the owners of them told me that the 1-15 did not have a stamp, and I didn’t know enough about them to be sure. I just didn’t want to take the risk it was alot of money

I’ll second that all I have ever heard about 1 of 15s is that they don’t have stamps on the back
A screen used mask and two of the best Myers ever made. You’re done collecting if you ask me. As for the 1-15 with a stamp who know why it has one and the others don’t? It’s finished exactly like the others and Billy bought it directly from CS. I don’t see how it’s not a special edition.
I’m not saying it wasn’t I just wanted to be sure. I’ve heard different things I just didn’t feel comfortable putting out the money not being 100%. I hope I can get one down the road if I can get a decent offer on one of these.
Always dug the finish on the #4, Hertleins finishing on the early copies was top draw.

Ok…hold on. What stamp? I had 2 different CS Myers masks. 1 was one of the 15; the other was a Special Edition with a stamp. I sold my 1 of 15 to Chris…whom passed away, he lived in Chicago. The other Special Edition was purchased from a member here and it was sold under no pretence as one of the 15.
Which mask are we talking about? I need to see pictures. The Certs. that Sean had made up state “one of the 15 made for the film” and that is what sets them apart.
