Thats awesome…Is the hair line original on the real kirk? If it is I would suggest changing the sideburns to have that even flow all the way down like on the 75…
The details on that mask look so much like the real deal…Outstanding job.

The 75 was never ever worked on its 100% original and the sideburns are available on request on the HMK.

while Id still love to own one regardless, something about the mouth just looks “smiley” to me, cant quite put my finger on it

quite simply, as good as it gets!

If you take a quick peek at the ‘Kirk stuffed’ video on Bry’s facebook site you will notice the smile is 100% on the mark. Every angle is perfecto…at least to my eyes.

It has the smile in those pics because of the lighting and its not stuffed. Look at the black and white pics bry posted and my avatar-The thing is dead on.Its nuts :open_mouth:

I would lean more towards the lighting becaue the 75 is not stuffed either. But I do see more of a smirk in the HMK.

Just my opinion.

Clay presses are never 100% perfect. There may be slightly more of a smirk, but it’s not a dealbreaker and probably is just angle and lighting making it look more drastic. Also the lip bump is gone, lips are thinner, no lines in the detail of the neck, nose is slightly smaller, has a clear neck seamline, and the ears don’t flare as much on the HMK - if you want to get real technical and nitpicky. Bottom line is that it’s the closest thing ever released to an actual 75. Great pics John!

Also, when looking at converted pics of the HMK the mouth doesn’t look smiley at all.

You can really see the smiley /smirk in the 3rd comparison pic.I think its the lighting though.Its brilliant regardless, but I see what your talking about puckface…

I agree, the Kirk smirk is a little too much for me, I dont think its the lighting because it looks the same in every pic. Its still a good mask though :wink:
