Seeing a 75k JC H2 in person is a thing of pure beauty. I think the 75K with James’s finish work beats all. That being said, the KH beats the 75k withought James’s finish , eye cuts and hair work. I want to see a KH with James’s touches. Then let the true contest begin.
I would say KH/DW by far. im the DW is the best H2 mask in the hobby. My fave replica is the 99 shat but next up is the DW, i just love them lol

As mentioned previously the KH/DW can achieve everything for H2 but i feel only when worn by certain people and certain copies for me,some look just subpar to me and the copies with Red Hair is a big no no the Hero never had red hair.as for the JC 75K/H2 Its a great mask and Can pull a great H2 and H1 so it is very versatile in that aspect and as Paul mentioned it would be interesting to see a one Straight from Nik as the KH/DW is straight from Ken but thats not what the title of this thread is,its a JC 75K in particular up for discussion here but i still say the KH/DW wins the Duel overall.

I’ve never been a fan of the KH/DW. But I’m not quite into all this like some of the other people on this forum. People used to drool over the KH/DW when I first heard of it several years ago and I sat here clueless. At the time, I knew nothing other than the fact I kept trying to find the most accurate Myers replica. I don’t like the sculpt, the color, the hair color, etc. As a mask, it’s nice. As an accurate H1 or H2 mask…I just don’t see it. Just because a mask is expensive, hard to find, not in production anymore, or has Dick Warlock’s recommendation, doesn’t make it a good or accurate mask.
It’s interesting how people always mention things like, “you have to see it in person…” Yeah, well…none of us saw any of the Halloween masks used in the film in person at the time they were used in the film. We see pictures and the movie itself. So if you have to say something like that to reinforce the greatness of a mask, then there is obviously something wrong.
I agree.I have never been a big fan of the kh/dw…JC could put his finishing on a jelly doughnut and it would be close to being accurate…LOL His finishing brings any mask to life. it doesnt have to be a 3000 dollar one I always look for that special mask that does not need to be refinished as I could never spend that kind of dough for paint and hair.I always buy 2nd hand so I know what im getting ahead of time.Some of the 05 psychos with original finishing is hard to beat imo…I like the 75k too but it usually need to be rehaired and repainted as well.Some copies look good as is but again thats why i buy 2nd hand.
The pics of yourself wearing my old #2 KH/DW still gives me the chills.

Agreed.Anyone that can dispute the potential dead-on accuracy of the KH/DW when worn never saw Jon sporting the #2.That was as close as ANYONE has ever gotten.Amazing.

I’m a huge fan of the 75k if it’s finished properly. JC pretty much nails it.
I loved a handful of copies of the original KH’s (especially being worn) but I don’t get as excited over the SE or the newest version (although I admittedly almost bought one to see it in person). But for around the $600-$700 total price tag I’d say the 75k finished by JC is as good as it gets right now. The KH is such a hit or miss and the latest copies endorsed by Dick/Andrew aren’t as thin and the size is a bit larger than I was hoping for.

I love the KH/DW (some copies much more than others), but I also love the 75K as both H1 and H2. I especially appreciate the versatility in the eye cut possibilities with the blank 75K’s! I will add that a lot of the KH/DW’s pull off more of an H1 look to me… NOT A BAD THING AT ALL!

Wow, love these threads. The SLE will never be topped IMO. I would like to see the new mask up close to see how it compares to the SLE. Ken’s finishing was nice but James is really on top of the mountain. I do love the KH/DW and from the pics the new KH/DW/AS too (BTW, congrats to all involved). I am working on the mecca of course . With that said, I love just about all of the copies of the 75K/H2s done up by JC. Certain copies stand out more than others. I don’t think you can go wrong here. As long as you are happy with how YOU see Myers H2 wise, that is all that matters.
For me, the best H2 mask ever…easy choice. SLE/JC H2. I just wish it could fit over the noggin better. Although the #2 ain’t too shabby
