I imagine the way Myers moves in both the first and second movies to be, a result of his condition in both movies. Obviously the real reason behind the way he moves is different across both films because it’s two different actors lol. I guess I kinda like to think that in H1, Myers is alive and well, moving faster, more fluid and human-like, but after he gets shot (on top of all the other damage sustained) he was basically dead, or at least his body was. I imagined that Michael’s movement in H2 was more robotic, slow, and stiff because he was dead but he was almost animated by his own force of evil in a way, an unexplainable vessel that’s taken and absorbed damage no man could get up from, let alone walk away. The only way he was able to be put down was through burning the evil or something like that I guess. Hell, if you wanted to get crazy with this idea, you could say Michael’s mask and coveralls look tighter because his body began to bloat since he was essentially dead. Idk, just some thoughts

He also changed coveralls, got shorter, rubbed dirt on his face and slicked his hair back lol!

Nice theory. He wasn’t fully recovered from the fall and is therefore slow throughout the entire movie. I like that!

That’s exactly what I’ve always thought too, OP. The funny thing is, he’s already moving more slow and stiff at the end of H1 when he’s walking into the room Laurie is hiding in the closet, and obviously when he sneaks up behind her before getting shot. Apparently those moments are what Dick Warlock based his performance on for H2.

Maybe there’s more a lil more merit to this line of thinking than I originally thought! Haha
