Autumn chill is beginning to set in 'round my part of the world and getting me in the mood for chills and thrills. As such, I thought I’d share something here. I began selling my entire collection piece by piece almost a decade ago to fund other things in life. This is the first mask I’ve owned in 7 or 8 years. I’ve never liked H6, but I adore the mask. Yes, it’s a TOTS–repainted, sealed and rehaired with crepe hair by me. I’m really quite exuberant about the results–or maybe it’s just the sheer joy of finally having a piece, any piece. Actually, I bought a couple of these TOTS masks with the intention of putting together more elaborate H6 displays that I’ve thought about for quite some time that I think other collectors would be interested in too. I was planning to put together a few of these sets to sell and one to keep for myself. For the rest of the sets I haven’t got any further than the design and choosing materials.
So here it is. Didn’t do a whole lot to style the hair. At the bottom, you’ll see pics of him with his twin brother. The second mask was intended for one of the sets, but won’t make the grade due to imperfections in the pull. That one is currently on sale on eBay by itself. Let me know what you guys think!
