'BEFORE and AFTER' Don Post 2006 (Michael Myers Mask - Conversion)

Hey guys!

I recently purchased a 2006 Don Post Michael Myers mask from eBay… It arrived in the poorest of condition’s possible. It had cracks in the paint, barely any hair what so ever and the worst thing about this mask was the fact that the previous owner had stuck a sponge inside the mask and it went all mouldy!

As you will see in the pictures below, the mask itself has obviously gone through the wars and basically I couldn’t bare the sight and thought of this mask rotting away. So I removed as much hair as possible, removed those terrible eyebrows and then painted the mask plain white…

This paint job in person has given the mask a lot more life to it.

I am debating whether or not to transform this now restored mask into a burnt Resurrection mask?

I think it would be a challenging project, but considering the fact that there aren’t that many Resurrection masks (Screen used) out there anymore… This could be a good idea to go for?

Thoughts and opinions guys!

Enjoy,

This is what I’m wanting to create

Burnt h8 or…a h4!

See when I was painting him over, I kept picturing a H4 mask. But I’m not a pro at this so I think I’m turning towards the Burnt H8 more due to not needing to hair the mask haha!
