IMO there is only 2 ways to get an accurate Castle stretch, 1 by getting any good replica mask that is a thin pull and have a head shaped the same as Nick himself. Or 2 find a mask with the stretch build in and get it in a size your head isn’t going to warp the look as it should already have the look your looking for.
I personally like the 75K Castle Stretch and MMK. But I have also seen some nice Creeps. 75K old mold can look good too but you have to work for the look as it can also make a good H2 mask. The finishing is the key though with any mask. But take all that with a grain of salt, far more experienced collectors and enthusiasts could probably offer better advice.
Creep all the way.
There seems to be a misconception that the stretch gave the HERO sad droopy eyes. It only looks that way when shot from a lower angle. Most of the time in the film and still shots., the mask just has rounder eye, not droopy.
The Creep achieves this when worn.
Thank you for replying, I agree, the creep is so dead on to the hero to me, and yes I know exactly what you mean by the sad droopy eyes. Thats actually a detail I always liked about the mask, and I’ll never forget the first time I saw it in the scene where Michael kills Annie, you can see his mask through the foggy window and really shows off the droopy eyes.
And heres another example of the droopy eyes, from the hedge scene… Photo credit to TheGhostlyShape, who had this image posted in his incredible All things Halloween thread.
