So I’ve been wondering. Why is there black tape on the neck of the 2018 hero? House of Masks said that it was to keep the collar up but I’m having trouble imagining how that would work. Like did they have tape on the collar as well?
Double sided tape, so they collar stays popped up like in the 1978 coveralls
Makes since to me cheap easy way to make the collar stay up.

I just thought of something. How would this effect neck movement? I’d imagine the tape would come off the collar if you tried moving your head right?
That is like grafting tape, which is super durable. It would likely be hard to unstick it, once stuck together.
Makes sense, also my dumb ass just realized that cloth isn’t solid as a brick so you would still be able to move your head.
Sometimes the cheapest and simplest thing is the easiest solution 
Tape is really not the best way to keep the collar up. Starch the collar.
That sounds like a great idea!
With tape the collar can still wrinkle, crumple etc you would get that if it was starched
Starch is good! and there where more then one Mask the Used … not all where taped

Chris told me himself it was to keep James’ collar up. Very cool that something so simple was done to solve it.
