I apologize if this has been posted/asked already but is there a difference between the Castle 75k and the SE? Is there even a standard version? Just wondering because I’ve placed an order for the SE as it’s the one I’ve seen in videos and some other posts.

I’ve often wondeee this myself . If they’re the same mask, then why have 2 names for it, let alone one of the names being ‘special edition’? It would seem to me the SE would be more accurate, or at least superior in some way.
Just guessing but thinking it could mean the way Nik finishes/hairs the mask
Yeah, you’re probably right. I seem to recall someone saying the Castle masks have a different finish to them, or something along those lines.
Here is a photo of the sculpts, and you can see the castle has more details than the old mold and the castle stretch.
I’m pretty sure now they’re all special editions, I’ve never seen any standard edition or much of a difference in Nikos’ masks, so I’m raher confident that a standard edition doens’t exist, even my Shape 78 that I got 2 weeks ago it says SE inside, though I didn’t request any special finish.
New mold 75K also looks much bigger than the other two.
I have “mask finishers” everywhere telling me that Nikos never sends a mask directly to a customer and that they ALWAYS go to a mask finisher first.
I was quoted a price for a mask by Nikos and he never said, “make sure you have extra money set aside to pay the person putting the finishing touches on your mask.”
Are these people just bullshitting me?
He doesnt send blanks to customers without paint and hair. Only finished masks.
I have a NAG 75k Castle SE on its way. I’m excited. A lot of people are telling me that NAG isnt that great, but after what I’ve seen, I beg to differ.
Next, I will convert a TOTS 75 Kirk to an H1, to add to my collection.
They probably told you that his finish isn’t great, but his sculpts are top notch, his painting has improved a lot actually, I’ve seen some pretty good works this year, and I think he did a great work on mine
Once you place an order on a NAG mask, how long before you get updates on progress or finally receive it, on average?

SE and Deluxe are just Nik’s way of saying more time is put into the paint and hair work and better hair is used.
My NAG 75k Castle Special Edition, with and without “Castle Stretch.” I’m like it without, plus if I do it with the stretch, I will do it with less foam in the chin.
I’ve since received an MMK. 75k is great, but my #1 is the MMK.
