Over 5,000 people have sued Johnson & Johnson over its marketing of talcum powder. Historically talc has not been separated from the asbestos’s it naturally forms with. Only recently is that being done. But, now most of the powder comes from China where there are no standards or regulations. It is pretty simple, corn starch is the ingredient that soaks up moisture, so stick with that, since you can’t know for sure the safety of the powder you are using, particularly if it came from China. .

Suing means nothing. I can sue somebody cause I think the sky is green. Asbestos has been separated from talc for decades. Patents for it were started in the 50s. Whether they were completely successful is another story. That separation is not recent. More conspiracy from the “internets”… American public under attack by Chinese talc. Please don’t use Talc Powder. Talcum never ever ever leaves your lungs even in small amounts inhaled. It’s just not worth it. USE Cornstarch.I use it on all my masks and I find it actually handles better on latex than baby powder.

Lmao you shouldn’t use baby powder either. Too many other ingedients. Good luck everyone with your corn starch, baby powder or whatever.
