Very different from the one you have. Looked alot like the one Erik has before the re hair.
There is one more a good friend of mine once had but this was years ago…The details were incredible. Not sure what that was.
I can’t believe I had forgotten this one, I always loved how this one has that unique look! So glad you never decided to have it painted in the more traditional way. LOVE this thing man.
If you subtract either Bob’s since it’s a H2 or Scott’s which is the proto, you’ve got 9 as Benny stated.
The one I saw on FB could’ve been Joe"s but I’m not sure since the owner never got back to me.
Keep in mind, Justin doesn’t keep track of these. To him, a NM78 is a NM78…May it be a 4 stamper, a returns or a returns with the skull stamp etc.
I’m not sure what to call that one.lol At the time, your copy seemed to be hailed as the only 81. Does Justin call Paul’s copy an H2? As I mentioned before, Justin doesn’t keep track of things. When you look at every 4stamper, the’re all finished differently. To me each copy is a one off which makes each one of them special.
There was also another one similar to mine before the rehair that Chad(Warlock) used to own wayyy back in the day.
Not sure who has it now or if it even exists anymore. I have seen some pics of other 4 stampers that were never shown to the public either. So the exact number of legit copies remains a mystery.
The proto has been reworked by James
Paul/50s was once owned by DB and was refinsihed/rehaired. I think it was rehaired again by James.
Erik’s copy was rehaired by Justin.
Benny’'s copy was once owned by Chris Zephro and was redone H2 style and then refinished back to a H1.
If you add yours back to the list and subtract the the Proto as I mentioned, you’ll have 9
He owned another one with similar paint to mine, I think I might still have the pic he sent me of it alongside the #5 KH before he sold it off. This was years ago, so I’ll have to do some digging
I remember him wearing a copy when he scored it and taking outdoor pics of it also. Was talikng to Darren about his and he told me he got it from Chad and it was the one on the SteveTodd site.
One thing I’d like to add as that stamps don’t always mean everything. There could be a few copies out there from the same mold without the 4 stamps like you and I had mentioned.
Like Justin would always mention that it’s a pain to keep the stamps in place when making a pull
I’m pretty sure there are no other masks from the same mold without the stamps. All the four stamp masks have those lines on the neck.I haven’t seen a NMM with those lines and no stamps. There could be some but I haven’t seen it. I’ve owned the one stamp, two stamp and no stamp and they were defiantly not from the same mold. Not sure why this mold was the best of the bunch but it defiantly was.
