Hello again, everyone! Just got my Classic ‘78 from DirtKnapFX. Gotta’ say, I am pretty impressed with the overall quality of this piece! It is larger than I initially though, making the weapon that much more menacing. Tim was great the whole way through with updates and he is just easy to talk to. Check his stuff out, and thanks!

Congrats! Yeah I’ve seen unboxing of this so I knew what it was before I even looked st the label haha! Did you get the Classic or a different CutCo model?
Had to go with the classic! Debating on making a quick unboxing video myself. I own one from nearly a decade ago and hands down Tim makes the best Lamson in the game so I can’t even imagine how the quality has improved. The package is heavy so I’m beyond excited

Do you guys prefer the 102-12 or classic 78 Tim does? I’m not sure which I prefer, probably going to end up being whichever is bigger lol

He had shown me pictures of the 102-12. I got the Lamson because that’s the knife I know from H1. I think with the handle it is 18”. Blade is between 12 and 14” I know that. It’s quite large lol.

I think the Case is an awesome knife for sure and although it is all but confirmed to be the same knife from the film, my memory will always have the Lamson engraved. Have owned 3 from JC and now 2 from Tim. The Case is amazing looking as well but I feel like the Lamson is just the perfect H1 knife for my taste

The Classic 78 is $160 with the resin stand that looks wooden. Thought it was pricey myself but after ordering 1 nearly a decade ago and receiving this new one; it’s even better!
Yep some slight aging to give it that 1978 vintage look and some dark grimey blood on the tip. If you want it done send it my way! A butcher I did I wanted to make it real gnarly and grimey. But that dirt nap would get a lighter treatment of course!
