I went to one of those spirt halloween stores or whatever you call them. i think they had 3 myers mask, all lame of course. One of them was 40 dollers, i think it goes with the crappy costume they sell there also. One of them had rubber hair. Just got me to thinking when i was younger and would go to halloween stores, the oldest version of the don post mask wasn’t really that bad considering. And compared to his last few masks and these new other mask that mask was great, why so many crappy masks at these stores? i don’t get it
its because don post doesn’t give a damn anymore if their products suck they already made their money and
don’t care about what they put out. if ya ask me i think its a shame if they really tried to make good myers masks
then they would probably sell more but once again the don’t care about that anymore.
Yeah i also heard shatner and his people want money for myers mask that they make now at stores, and kinda because of that there making the mass produced masks look less and less like the original.
Yeah the masks today are just garbage. I remember when I was in 6th grade, back in 1996, I really wanted to go as Michael Myers for the first time. Well we went up to this place called Foy’s Halloween Store, it is actually like a city block full of nothing but Halloween related stores. Anyway, I bought an '85 DP Myers mask there for $40.00, I spent my life saving on that mask. I’m telling you what, that '85 DP was one of the coolest masks I ever owned. Everyone loved it, I loved scaring everyone with it and the best part was that it looked great! Of course had I known that it would have been worth some money today I wouldn’t have wore it so much to the point where it melted on me.
For me though, I will never buy another mask from a Halloween store. I’d rather pay one of the many talented guys on here to make me something that is going to last and look fantastic.
