Seeing how don post studios has released
several versions of the shatner mask, would
it be possible for them to have a new one
in the works ??? If not why?
No, unless they paid for the license fee. Nobody really wants a Shatner mask though. I mean, sure we do, but the general public wouldn’t buy them. I’m still shocked Post ever licensed the 98 Shatner as it didn’t sell worth crap. Two years ago I bought two 98 Shatners at a mask store in Denver and the shop clerk said “We’ve had those for years! No one wants them.” I was glad to buy them for $65 a piece and sell them on eBay 
. That’s why the 99’s carried the 98 date stamp, so they didn’t have to PAY to renew the license for 99. I’d love to see another released but I think the 98 and 99 Shatners were our chance to get a mass produced Shatner.

Theres a bit of information that I was unaware of, Thanx man.
They would need to get a license to Shatner, which is now a CBS property. That is not going to happen, but I know a mask company that is working on getting the license
Now that’s some very interesting information.
I hope that company has luck in it’s quest
and produces a nice shatner and can keep
it around 75 bucks…, now that would
be great!!!
