You’re right they were from a dvd…an HD dvd. same thing, the only shots that were not HD were the ones from the TV version. But that’s cool. I deleted them. I was just posting them for you guys.

There are lots of programs out there now to rip 1080p blurays from pc bluray drives. I have lots of rips on my laptop made from bluray releases. Not of halloween. Theres a lot of noise in those frames. I watched a 720 halloween rip before. Not as much noise. If you have a blueray drive look around on the net- you’ll find the tools. To rip picture perfect images from the rip. Use KMP player. I should get a bluray drive for my pc. I don’t know why I havent but then again it’s main intent is for 3d programs like Maya and Zbrush. I don’t want anything on it eating up memory. I’m surprised it’s taken this long to happen.

I know this was beaten to death in a previous thread, but by smooth, do you mean one uninterrupted cut? Or, what TLW did, a number of individual scissor cuts following the contour of the eye? Not jagged, but not perfectly uninterrupted either, exactly how it looks if you cut your way along a predetermined or spontaneous line in latex with small scissors. The above picture clearly shows nearly every cut made.

Thanks Guys…I really appreciate the comments. I mostly grabbed shots of the mask to show details that might not have been seen in the standard def version of the film. If anyone would like a specific scene…just ask.
