you know this thing rocks but it also made me realize something. Maybe its not 2 or 3 different masks made into one, maybe it was originally too long and looked goofy so the mouth was cut and moved up to make it fit better
Alright guys, to make this easier and to give a bulk answer without repling to everyone seperately
i am just going to do it here!
i have written down everyone that said in the intial post (clearly stating) that they wanted to buy one
and all the people that have PM’ed , too have been added to the list.
and it seems that everyone wants in on the intial 5 masks so, basically to be fair
i am going by those that contacted me 1st via POST/PM…
i will go through the times of Contact then, post the LIST so, everyone will know where they are…

This is the final paint scheme, it will not change due to the inaccuracies in color (in the film) correction as someone rudely pointed out. The colors and black, not dark blue. Thanks, Tyler

Tyler is calling me rude for pointing out the obvious in a screen cap? I didn’t know they color corrected it to change black to royal blue. Where is this documented? Either way I’d rather have what I see in the film… I didn’t think I was being rude at all, just trying to help. But to each his own.
I don’t think Chad was being rude at all. I am seeing the same thing, it looks royal blue, not black. The sculpt is great, the price is nice, but I think the black should be changed to royal blue.
It’s a beautiful piece, perhaps the best Halloween clown mask replica I’ve seen. The faded green above the eyes and other colors look good to me. I have always thought the smile and eye lines were dark blue and black high lighted, but the all black works for me because it’s an artist interpretation.
i perfer the black over the blue, it doesnt throw out the other colors and actually makes the mask pop a little more than the blue would, i think it is the better choice in color with the scheme as an artist and my opinion.

I can agree with that. The crisp black definitely makes it pop for sure.
Id like to see one of these with a roughed up look to it. I think that would make for a cool clown mask as well.

The film for DIVIMAX DVD and Blu ray was incorrectly transferred and most, if not all the the blues were muted. This was discussed a long time ago. Don May, Jr. has discussed this at length with the head of Anchor Bay. Joe Wolf had the transfer done without any help from Dean Cundey.

This was taken from an OLD first release Halloween DVD before the color were muted. Notice also the BLUE collar on the costume.

Thanks for the info KirkMagnum, you are always very informative. I still prefer what Tyler did because he built this from ground up and i dont think anyone will disagree that the sculpt is fantastic and accurate, i just think the black is a better touch than the darker blue, look at the pics together. Black accents the flesh tone and red/white/green/blue colors, whereas the darker blue kinda just blends with them with no “POP” i also like that there isnt a plastic nose added and that its molded 
To each thier own we are entitled though

It’s a really nice sculpt but black would have clashed with the Green, Gold (Yellow), Red and Blue costume he wore.
Either way, its a win for the Myers community.
I would love to have my copy feature the Blue on it to make it as close as possible in the paint department to the original mask.
