Nikosâ eycuts are very inconsistent, not sure about how he cuts them and why theyâre often badly cut and asymetric, it shouldnât be a hard thing to do for an artist like him especially if heâs using some reference, my Shape 78 suffers from the same asymmetric eyecut as the one below, left eye is droopy and not fully cut, you can still see a piece of latex from its Kirk form on the bottom right, right eye is straight, if they were both cut the same way either one would probably do the job, but in my case when I wear it one eye goes down and the other stays horizontal, and that kinda ruins the badass look that a MM mask should have when worn.

this is not badmouthing, itâs called criticism, this is a forum afterall, a place where people make comparisons and points out pros and cons when it comes to certain mask replicas and artists alike, yes I bought from him, but that doesnât mean that I have no tight to highlight and share with you what went wrong or couldâve been made better, and you should thank me for this, many people believe they own the best masks ever only because they own them, even when they do have flaws and just wonât admit it, this attitude wonât help you, not a bit, criticism is golden, there would be no progress in this world without doubts and criticism, âCogito ergo sumâ, remember that, you noticed yourself that eyecuts are often different and not accurate, so are you badmouthing too? I donât think so, youâre just after genuine information, and you definitely wouldnât be happy if we were telling you lies and that everything looks fine just for the sake of the artist, we spend hundreds on masks, pointing out even the slightest flaw for the sake of the community instead is the least we can do.
By the way, have you ever wondered why most people just order blanks from Nikos and send them to JC, Loper or others? as much as Nikos has improved at finishing a mask and did an excellent job on mine finish wise his painting is still far from the work of the American specialists, if itâs accuracy youâre after you should reckon with this, and with the fact that youâve opened this thread asking about the accurate eyecuts, apparently if youâre after the right eyecuts itâs not Nikos the right person for that, there are thousands of pictures out there proving that, so Iâm not me slugging off anyone, just look and judge for yourself.
Well as far as Iâm concerned fredddy loper are better than Jc ! You slag off Nikos all the time! Shame on you!

Honestly I donât care which one you prefer, either of them is top rated when it comes to finishing a mask.
But Iâm beginning to think youâre a little slow on the uptake buddy, slagging off? I gave Nikos 400 bucks for my mask, so I have the right to criticise what I bought my son, eyes on my mask couldâve been made better, period, I replied this topic to give you information and confirm that eyes cut by him are often inaccurate, the pictures you posted prove that, if you donât appreciate my help and experience being an owner of a NAG you can just sit there and convince yourself yor eyes are perfectly accurate, people here already told you that none of the picture youâve posted show accurate eyecuts, so shame on you not me.
