H2 FAN EDIT

Okay so here’s the link to the fan-edit of H2.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HQ289CMH

This is the directors cut with the theatrical cut ending. I will upload the one with the Directors cut ending later.

In this version you will find I have added…

Laurie crying about her parents onto the therapy scene from the TC.

The scene with the lady seeing Michael in her backyard from the deleted scenes.

The scene where Laurie is working at Uncle Meats and then hallucinates Michael is hanging her from the tree taken from the deleted scenes.

When Laurie hallucinates killing Annie I chopped into the sequence Michael grabbing Laurie and Slashing her throat just before she wakes up in the glass coffin.

I added in the “Can I see the pig” scene from the TC.

The shot of the exterior Brackett house when Michael passes by the upstairs window just after Mya and Laurie are talking in the kitchen.

Now for the score.

I slowed down and shortened the following tracks and rescored them in the film.

Tyler Bates slowed down rendition of Carpenters “Lauries theme” which I scored over the opening scene when Laurie is walking shellshocked down the abandoned street in the rain.

A slowed down “Haunted House” theme from 1978 when Laurie is sitting waiting for buddy to return.

In the deleted scene with Laurie working in Uncle meats before she hallucinates I have “Don’t fear the reaper” as the music being played in the stores background.

Then when Laurie sees herself being hung I scored it with the slowed down “Lauries theme” which I re-edited to suit the scene length.

When Laurie calls to Mya and Harley to tell them she is Angel Myers I used the slowed down “Lauries Theme” which I re-edited to suit the moments length.

When Annie is in the house alone I used the “Haunted House” theme which I remixed and re-edited to suit the length.

Another thing is that I made a piano clink sting identical to the one that was used throughout the leaked trailer for “Halloween II” which is basically the first two notes of “Lauries theme” slowed down. I placed it at suitable moments throughout the film.

I also re-cut the scene when Michael bursts through the door after Annie dies. I made the length of it shorter so that as Michael is bursting through it looks like Laurie can’t get the door open… it has added more tension…

Let me know what you think after you have watched it…

enjoy

OK man I am downloading it now I am stoked. Is this one pretty good quality like you can burn it to a disc?

Yes it’s ready more or less to burn.

Thanks for all your hard work, im all over it. I tried to do my own edit but was geating realy bad Syncing issues from the xvid…Cheers

P.s - Are their any other alternate cuts of any of the other halloween films that i could get my hands on ? i have the Producer’s Cut of Curse.

BUMP

did you add the real halloween theme at all? i didnt read if you did or not but if you did ill be watching if not i may still watch but really looking to hear the theme in it.

The Halloween theme is in the cut I’ve made with the original Directors Cut ending. I have the theme playing over the scene with Michael stalking Laurie outside the hospital. I will also upload this cut of the film tonight and post the link to this version here.

is there any way to watch this with out downloading programs or getting a membership i downloaded it but it says i need another program to watch it i dont feel safe downloading other shit on my computer

You just need to download winrar for free to unpack it. I needed to compress it with Winrar so that the file would be small enough to download it from Megaupload without you guys having to pay for it. You can download winrar free and safe from here.

http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html

It’s really quick to download and once you open the file with winrar it is instantly viewable.

Thank you, I will download it
I would say if what I think

Okay, I downloaded Winrar, I downloaded the H2 file but then I open the H2 file through Winrar, it has two files right there…one that says Folder and one that says Halloween 2. I double clicked one of them at a time and each time it says “extracting files” but after its done extracting them after like half an hour or more…nothing happens. How can I watch it instantly?

Just right click on the file and choose “extract here” and this will extract it for you into the same folder with these files.

Okay got it now, its pretty damn good so far…it definitely feels more like a Halloween film with your added scores in there and Awesome Quality too! I will let you know what I think of it once I’m done watching it

Thanks man. Hope you enjoy it all. Looking forward to and appreciate your feedback.

Just finished watching the re-edit you made and I gotta say…I didn’t enjoy this film in the theatres when I saw it but damn you made it feel more like a Halloween film with the added trailer piano tones and the added/re-edited scores. Even though I haven’t seen the entire Directors cut, the added scenes from the Directors cut you added in were great and I can definitely say as of this moment this is the best version out there for sure. Those piano tones came at the perfect moments and the slowed down laurie theme was awesome as well…nothing more to say but thanks for this re-edit man and I hope others enjoy it as well.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I appreciate the feedback. Just wanted to add a little hint of the old Halloween series to Zombie’s movie by adding the Carpenter-isms. 'm actually gonna post a link to the other version of the edit I’ve done which I prefer… It has the Halloween theme in it plus the original directors cut ending plus alternate versions of the Carpenter themes.

Okay let me know, I might have to check that version out also

Can you tell me if any of the edit you downloaded has sync problems? I just downloaded to check and it has on my download but don’t know if it’s just the computer I downloaded it to.

There were no sync problems when I watched it, it was really good quality actually

Nice Job it flows a little more to my liking with some of those deleted scenes added and i am more of a fan of the theatrical ending. Still could do with out Sherri in it so much. But oh well.
