Yes, I would love to see the “Jamie Attacks Step Mother” track on the New H4 Soundtrack, too!
And, an extended version of the “Empty Stomach/Laurie’s Theme” track would be cool, too! I remember the first time I saw H6 and the scene where John Strode chases the kids off his property, I heard those familiar chords & was like “WHOA!,” it’s “Lauries Theme!”

very cool. I’ve definitely come to appreciate Mr Howarth as an artist after watching him in action (twice) at the 30 year convention. I still think it was a crime not to bring him in for H2O-obviously they wanted Scream and a half. I think he could have done wonders, although I think Danny Lux was a huge improvement over Marco Beltrami, OOPS i mean poor John Ottman.
Regarding the Halloween II: Expanded Original Motion Picture Soundtrack - 30th Anniversary Edition, I wonder what the five new bonus “Halloween II Suites” are, as well as the special mixes of cues never released.
I’m not sure but I can almost bet you it will be some good stuff. Much better than the crapy they are trying to pass off as horror music today in the theaters.
I can’t wait! I’m so excited! I’m really looking forward to it! I don’t want to wait forever. I wonder what the back cover art looks like, and if there is going to have a booklet/liner notes. Off the top of my head, I hope there’s the following tracks…
1.) Halloween II Theme from the Ben Tramer death/kill scene
2.) The Town Square Halloween II Theme right after Boom-Box Boy/Lance bumps into The Shape/Dick
3.) The Halloween Theme when Laurie sees him in the hospital parking lot & she is banging on the doors for help.

I have that CD and the Halloween II Suites are just different HII Medleys I think Alan Howarth put together and distributed through AMAZON initially. CD above the barcode says “Manufactured by amazon”
The Medleys are pretty good- but I don’t recall them being unreleased TV version recordings at all.
Well man I am not so sure now- I am listening to the bonus suites and they actually sound to me like they could be medleys mixes of some original tapes from Howarth. You should buy the CD and decide for yourself. Even some really great HII theme medleys as well- totally worth the purchase!
