I was just wondering if anybody knew why Phil Parmet wasn’t the D.P for H2?
From my understanding, there was simply a conflict of interests. Rob had many issues on Devil’s Rejects and
again on Halloween. I think he felt that Phil wasn’t totally in sync with his vision. I seriously doubt there is any personal
animosity between the two. Either way, I have much respect for both of them.

Oh alright, i figured that was the case, because watching the Michael Lives, and 30 Days of Hell it seemed that the 2 seemed to be friends so it just had me wondering. Thanks!
What I’ve heard is that they were totally on the same level during TDR, but, while still being personal buddies, they had a very different view from eachother about Halloween. Just a professional thing. Phil’s vision wasn’t Rob’s. Rob’s the director and he gets the last word.
