Well here you go, with the power of owning the digital copy, and the much better brightness of a home television, the gunshot wound to the mask is rather large, and does have blood around it. So there you go skeptics, it’s true, it’s there, it’s large and it’s bloody.
The blood is there, but the hole is smaller than it appears in those shots you’ve posted.

Watching it live on video here it doesn’t look smaller to me man. The tots mask hole cut won’t be consistent anyway obviously, some bigger, some smaller, yadda yadda blah blah. But to me it’s definitely no small hole in the film. It’s just moving so fast that in a theater with a dark screen it’s hard to even see it’s there. After that scene, Myers is filmed from the left side mostly, or top down overhead shots. The fact tots made a mask based on this is just kind of a silly money grab, but no need to dig this deep just so we can bitch about Zephro some more. The hole is there and bloody, a lot of people didn’t even think that was true let alone the size of the damn wound.
I’ve seen BTS pics that contradict the size. You’re exactly right, there Are going to be copies that have the cuts arranging through different sizes since their quality control isn’t the greatest. I don’t want to make it look like I’m digging deep or anything, I just don’t think it’s appropriate to say it’s the exact size as the one provided by Nelson since it’s not always the case. Certainly not a small hole. But not as huge as we’re seeing on some of these TOTS copies, but like you said- quality control.
The more I see the actual screen used version with hole, the more I like it!

Yeah I wasn’t trying to say it’s an exact cut size of the real mask, but definitely seemed large in watching it here at home. And yes, it’s actually not a bad look after seeing it a few times now! Might be some hope with it after all!
And I wasn’t necessarily saying you specifically were digging, that was just in a general sense from what I have read several folks saying. Sorry if it came off that way brother!
