It’s a good idea but am I the only one that thought the way Nick is standing after the bullet goes through the glass and you fully see him in the mirror is…awkwardly rigid? Like you can tell he had an exact cue to be still and stand so he’s dead center in the mirror.
Trailers spoiled 95% of the film. Just horrendous. I liked the framing of the shot, I didn’t like that he was just standing there in another room and then slowly walking past Hawkins who he had set the trap for with the ghost and then going down stairs while being called out and then capped in the shoulder. Michael is someone thinking 2 steps ahead you shouldn’t really see coming.
If it makes you feel any better, I never knew about the mirror and even then, I knew something would go ‘wrong’ that early in the film and that the shot wouldn’t hit. I hope that makes you feel a little better. hehe.
I’m curious what others thought MM was thinking when he cruised by the deputy, down the stairs and out the back door. Was he scared of Laurie or was he escaping to protect himself?
No, i think he was definitely going down there to kill her. It’s what resparked his interest in her.
She just was on the hunt, she wasnt just waiting for him.
He was caught off guard.
Then she shoots him, which could possibly be the first time he saw her as a possible threat.
That was something so amazing to me. He was on a random killing spree, much like 78, just having fun, for lack of a better word. Setting up scares and killing people…then he sees her. The one that got away, and hes so captivated and driven to get to her that he stops everything else, and doesnt think 2 steps ahead for once. His emotions got the best of him.
