My version of “The Man in Black” (actually, it’s just how I look when it’s really cold, but y’know )

ScareGasm, I was just browsing and looking at some pics on Facebook (as you do lol) and I could swear it was you who was in the pics… Your tattoos are amazing.
Thanks. Not sure what pics they were but if it’s a chick with a Halloween sleeve I’m 90% sure it is I.
Great pics! You remind me of the Undertaker merged with the man in black. Very cool.
I too miss AMC playing Return and Revenge all the time during October. To me, Halloween 5 is the last of the series to really feel like Halloween.
I thought halloween 5 was a pretty good film,I loved the mask,It had such an angry look to it.A huge reason I like halloween 5 is because I thought loomis was amazing in that movie,The emotion in that movie, ands how loomis talked to michael and when he unmasked himself to jamie
I’m not a huge fan of H5 but I watched it the other night and there was a lot of things I really enjoyed. I really love the mood in some of the shots, Michael with a scythe, Danielle Harris is amazing beyond her years, I actually like Tina because she is loving and despite some of the things she does/says, she truely cares about Jamie. I love/hate Rachel’s death scene. Still not my favorite in the series but I found myself actually wanting to continue watching this time instead of stopping it like I usually do.
I really think that H5 fits nicely into the great trilogy of H4, H5 and H6. It has a great feel similar to H4…for me, it will always be like the Empire Strikes Back, I cant not watch the next movie after watching H5. I need to see H6, just like i need to watch Jedi after watching ESB.
THe music was excellent too!
My thoughts exactly.
The movie sucks…
Why?
It looks rushed.
Michael looks like a sissy with his mask on behind bars.
The two dumb cops with their stupid BGM.
BUT…
Had some of the best lighting effects.
The mask looks sinister in it’s own right.
Was actually scary.
Danielle Harris and Pleasence at their best!!
The shape got to use a variety of new weapons.
The opening with the pumpkin being carved was actually pretty cool.
The chase scenes were great.
I checked out AMC’s schedule yesterday and they will be playing Halloween II (the original) this year. Just like every year, H4 and H5 will be aired this year as will H1 and HIII.
AMC will also be airing Friday the 13th 1-JGTH this year.
Thats it I just had to pop it in!!!
Excellent!! Thanks for the info.! Halloween II and 5 always bring out the best in me. It’s right up there with putting on my manly lookimg coveralls from Tractor Supply and scaring children while giving out candy at my apartment on Trick-or-Treat night.
It’s about time the play HII and Friday The 13th’s. As for H5, I loved the car(1967 Camaro), mask was creepy, and it had a good halloween vibe to it. Opening scene was awesome.
No prob ScareGasm.
I always make it a point around this time every year to go to AMC’s website and check the FearFest schedule. I always look forward to FearFest.
Blah, H5 is definitely not my cup of tea, but, i have to admit, Loomis was awesome in Revenge, easily the best thing about the movie. His character evolved more with every installment, most definintely carried the film.
My favorite scene FEATURING LOOMIS:
Charlie… Charlie! Michael Myers… is out side! stay with the little girl… PLEASE?!
I do enjoy the 4 & 5 series. These films truely capture the HALLOWEEN feal. AND THE YEAR AMC PREMIERED H6 WAS THE SHIT!
My top 3 “REVENGE” Moments, other than the intro…
- When the Shape comes around the corner of the “Quick Food Mart” behind the Camaro.
- When the shape sports that other mask.
- When the Shape walks out of The Tower Farm barn with that pitch fork and shows no respect for the authority!
CLASSIC HALLOWEEN MONMENTS
Let’s not forget the laundry chute seen. That is as tense as it gets. Even the scene when Michael is climbing out of the crashed car and slowly walks at Jamie while raising the knife as she stammers backward. And when Tina jumps between them and gets stabbed by Michael and the camera does a full 360 in the air with the music spiraling with it. I think both of those scenes are brilliantly done. I certainly don’t think H5 gets the respect it deserves.
I’ve just always wanted to use the whole “I just LOVE barbaric men” line on a guy who would actually get it… obviously hasn’t happened yet though…lol
Men around here are so lame.
I could totally picture H5 around here though because of the whole setting. Lots of corn fields, middle of nowhere small town shit, etc. I’m starting to think I live in my own little version of Haddonfield…
And for a couple years I haven’t been impressed with AMC’s Fearfest schedule. I’m glad to hear it sound like things are looking up for it this year though.
