today on Oprah. haha. so i was sitting watching halloween with my fiance, and she told me that shed rather watch something more happy than halloween all the time. and that im obsessed. so i was wondering if your friends or family think you have a obsession problem. im sure everyone is.

My bro in law cracks jokes about my obsession with it, hell I even created a sign on playstation 3 online as EvilMyers lol… and my friends just give my crap as well but thats about it, they all know i’m not gonna snap and put on one of my masks and start a killing spree lol. So just take whatever any one says with a grain of salt and just ignor them, and enjoy ur obsession lol… Dean

i hate it when my dad says, all myers masks are the same, why do you want more? and he eveen thinks mass produced are the same as indie masks. at that point i feel like punching him in the nose 
but my mum is pretty good, she shows enthusiasm when i get new masks and she can tell the difference between mass produced and indie, f**k you dad!!! lol
My wife pretty much just deals with it and for the most part is supportive. She has her own obsessions, to tease me about mine would just be hypocritical. I have Myers and she has The Golden Girls.lol
My parents just get on my case every time I get a new one about how I spend my money. I’ve learned to ignore them.
My baby momma thinks it’s a little rediculous but she has 3 Coach bags that I think is a little rediculous.
Time to find a ‘new’ fiancee.

I’m lucky that my wife is cool w/ my collection. It took her a year or two to get used to it when we first started dating… but now she knows its just part of my life and it makes me happy.
She’s happy b/c I’m happy. I’m lucky to have found her.
My wife is very supportive.She gets a little flustered every time I mention a new mask is on the way,but I can’t blame her.I have been on a LONG streak with picking stuff up.She really does appreciate a really good mask when she sees one and knows the difference.I am very fortunate.
I must say I’m lucky because my wife is a horror fan as well.She never hassles me about my collecting
that is until I put on a white mask and chase her around the house.lol my wife is great. My family
don’t hassle me either about my collection,at least to my face.We have a great harmless hobby and
if it makes you happy than that’s all that matters.

my girl just rolls her eyes and doesn’t really get it. i think that she just deals with it. i get all my packages at work and she is asleep when i get home in the morning from the firehall, so most of the time she doesn’t even know that i got a new mask until i tell her. i didn’t think she really paid any attention to my collection, but when we go into to the collection room, she can always pick out which ones she hasn’t seen before. her side of the family don’t ever mention it, i think they are as stange as they think i am (if that makes sense). my side of the family asks to check it out everytime they come over my house, they love it. my dad however has to chime in with, “no wonder your always broke” (which i am not). but hes cool about it too.
i always worried, if i die, will they sell these for $5 a pirce on ebay or what? so i gave my girl the numbers to friends that know what the value is and told her to let them take care of it, just in case.

Hilarious man! My wife is smart like that too. I have a collection room full of about 40 masks and she will walk in there from time to time… then come ask me when I got such and such masks. I always think dang, you weren’t supposed to know I bought those. Of course her next question is… how much were they? How it works is - whenever I buy something for myself, she feels like she can buy something for herself of equal value. Ah the joys of being married! Well off to take my wife shopping for a new purse!

I realized that I never mentioned the rest of my family.My parents,who come over next to never don’t think anything of it,negative or positive.My wife’s mom is remarried.So,when her mom and stepfather come over,my stepfather doesn’t even acknowledge it.I know that he thinks it is ridiculous and a waste of time and money,just knowing his personality.He’s a GREAT guy,but he wouldn’t understand something like this hobby,although he wastes money on some REALLY ridiculous stuff himself.My mother-in-law doesn’t seem to mind,but I know she probably thinks it’s a bit immature.My wife’s biological dad,who is recently divorced again,is also a great guy,but a born again Christian.So,we never showed him the stuff.When he came buy to see our new home,we didn’t let him see the walk-in closet in the spare room,which is where it all was before I set it all up

well how often do you want to watch a Halloween movie with her? you said as she put it, its “all the time”. nothing wrong with a couple views a year but i would suggest waiting until she is not around if you must watch Halloween all the time during the off season.
as much as i love them im good to watch the ones i like 2-3 times a year and thats usually around October.
get a grip man. if its starting to freak your fiance out then by all means dont make her watch them but once a year and it will in no way “affect your family”.
My parents are always sayin i need to quite wastin my money on this stuff and sayin masks are never gonna do anything but sit in my room, which i understand but still disagree. i think to a lot of mask collector they serve a much greater and deeper purpose than that. and my girlfriend is always ALWAYS on my care about it everyday. she hates horror movies i barely got her to watch all of the halloweens once.
