Halloween H20 thread..questions, facts...

Could anybody come up with a good reason for the makers of the movie to leave such a large flange/neck extension on the mask?

I can’t see a reason for it, maybe it was a mistake?

I would have to disagree with you about Seven being Small and less detailed, because i have a 24 inch head and my H30 Seven is a perfect fit compare to the MS, also as was told to me by Gary from H30 my H30 Seven #14 is a first run that was casted of Movie Mold mask, and is very Detailed…

i just dont get it why everything has to be done in such a crazy way…wtf is a neck extension gonna do…make the mask and put it on the actor problem solved…I.E H5…the mask didnt come out the way they wanted…cool pay a team shitloads to make a shitty mask an have that same team remake the same shitty mask hahaha wtf

Sean Clark of SSN is the one who owns the movie mold mask from H20 that was never used. So the seven couldnt have come directly from the mask, but the SSN H20’s do.

Well i was told by Gary that it was, so i don’t know.

The seven ‘came’ from the SSN v2, not the unused Winston mask.

Put it this way, the Unused winston is 1st generation, the SSN v2 is second generation, the Seven is 3rd generation.[/quote]

Perfectly described

That happens to be my favorite scene/shot of Myers in the whole movie as well!

Pleasance passed away before Halloween 6 was completed so obviously it IS NOT him.

If you listen closely you will notice the voice actor has a less “gruffy” voice, it is smoother and has a slightly higher pitch. What makes you think so much of Pleasance is the actor does a great job of using the same sort of unique pronunciations that Pleasance does combined with a good impression of his overall voice sound.

The work print has a slightly longer introduction by the Pleasance actor by the way.

The best is the SSN Durand.

Isn’t there a longer version of the bathroom scene, from the TV cut?

i would LOVE to see that!

and yeah i mean i didnt know if it was a snippet from 78 the loomis actor was so good!

Somebody once made a Halloween fan movie and hired the same Loomis voice over artist for the narration, anybody remember that?

As for the TV cut, I think there is some Myers POV shots in the restroom scene.

It even shows Myers following the Ambulance in his car at the end of the movie and watch his sister decapitate the paramedic.

the TV cut shows myers peeping out the bathroom door at the rest stop from the outside and a POV shot

it has an extra scene with will carving a pumpkin

extra shots of michael stalking marion

an extra shot of john and charlie walking down the street at lunchtime and michael drives by them

some of the deaths are cut out or short, sarahs body isnt found

michael knocks the tables over longer

and the beheading is cut out its implied

no shot exists of michael watching laurie decapitate the wrong man lol

Loving the H20 movie too… has to be up there as one of my most watched in the entire franchise… Durand plays a mean Michael!!!

Yes you are right… I’ve just looked this fact up about the voice of Loomis in the opening credits of H20,
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) Played by Tom Kane (as Dr. Samuel ‘Sam’ Loomis)

I always thought it was D.P too…
This kinda coincides with my earlier thread about Jamie Lee Curtis having a Voice over in Halloween III Season of the witch…

Nice post!!!
Scott :drinkers:

Although I’ve not seen the actual edit, I’ve seen stills of myers’ car following the ambulance, what cut is that from?

I got the first SG H20 mask and I love it - I only have one complaint, the hair isn’t too accurate.

I think Durand is my 2nd favourite Myers after Nick Castle.

btw when did Smith’s Grove start naming this mark Morningside??

The Hair looks great to me :stuck_out_tongue: and it was when they changed there Name to Morningside.

now that is nice!!! first run is always the best…

guys its almost halloween and i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed a H20!!!

and hey vandark try to find that still of michael following the van…you maybe thinking of some scenes from resurrection and guys sorry to bump this thread but 1. its a good discussion and 2. i dont have a comp so this is my reply! lol

Hi,

No, the sequence was definitely from H20, I’m surprised nobody else remembers.
