I think beneath the stock paint and the hair, there is obviously some potential. TOTS masks have shown again and again that the sculpts are usually decent. It’s the paint and the overall mass produced nature that makes them look awful. Give it time, the good rehauls will prove this.
Now, is the design itself leaving something to be desired? That’s debatable. Personally, I still am reluctant to say it’s a great addition to the iconic Myers look and feel. We’ll see when the movie comes out and go from there. It’s still too early and the hype is still building towards the release date.
So even though I have two coming next week, the Comic-con in my area this weekend had the Kills masks, and so I said heck with it and bought one. Here’s some photos under fixed lighting, and I will have full costume shots later tonight. I just got home and set it up to take these pics real quick.

Dude that looks actually decent right there. I’m waiting for mine to come so I can unbox it and video it to see how it looks before then rebox it to send to Reme for the Kills works.
I’m blown away how at the mask looks so different when rehauled. Like a whole other mask. Rezamp and 7 is killing it. Really debating on sending mine to one of them guys.
Mine just came I’m stoked with the copy I recieved, and along with others can’t wait to send it off myself, its surprisingly a great mask right from the get go…and the fit feels way better than my h40. Can’t wait to have this one finished and sitting right next to my h40!! Anyways, to those have have one of these on its way, fear not! It’s amazing!
Even though I havent really loved what I have been seeing as far as inconsistencies in paint application on these, id figure I’d join in on the fun.
A new Halloween movie is on the horizon, why not celebrate.
So I bought my mask from Collectors Row, in the notes I asked if they could pick the best looking copy they have. I’d figure that they would just send any copy to save time. Boy, did Collectors Row deliver.
My camera is blowing out the details, but man, the paint job is excellent. The burnt side has the right amount of burn and black and its not too white.
Im happy to eat my words.
Im going to wait to futz with the hair till the movie comes out, but yea guys, I see what you are all talking about now.
