Well first off I would love to wish everybody a safe, wonderful and Happy new year!!!
and I had a question wondering what I should do, well if you guys get to know me im all about 100 percent screen accuratcy, and in h1 michael gets stabbed in the neck, with a sewing needle and in h2 through out the whole movie there is a whole on the side of the hero so im wondering do you guys think its worth it putting a whole in my Warlock or should leave it the way it is ??? this mask is very special to me!, thanks guys I really need your guys opinion
If you don’t want to poke a hole in it. Use a fine point charcoal pencil and make a little mark that looks like a hole. But in reality if you stabbed someone in the neck while they were wearing a mask and pulled it back through. The latex would seal itself as you pulled the needle back out and you wouldn’t really be able to see the hole. So the hole you see in the movie is actually kind of fake. They should of thought of that. But than again it was 1978 and Carpenter and the crew were probably stoned most of the time.
indeed. poke a needle through latex and retract it, the entrance hole will barely be noticable. ofcourse size of needle will determine the visibility of the hole.
and yeah, im sure carpenter and crew were all smoked up
Well im doing what Frankie said, until I find someone that is a proffesinall at this because I do not want to screw up, but if I could find someone with alot of experiance then I would.
I think the staff of Halloween may have actually screwed up a couple of times.
When you look at the side shot of the HERO in the Sean Clarke video you’ll see at least 4 holes.
I don’t know what they are but one of them is definetly the one from the needle shot.
Hey like I said I’m not sure http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11Tfgu7qFjE
Look around 1:33 and you’ll see some other holes. I could be wrong though.
Just don’t want you to screw up that’s all.
This picture is clear and accurate. The other dark areas are just natural weathering. Using charcoal or paint to make a hole mark, is the way to go. You can adjust it and get it the way you want it.
