I know one of the flashback scenes is 20 minutes long from someone who saw the test screening. I won’t say what it’s about but that’s the only one I’m aware of so far. Having said that, people keep reporting from the test screening that the flashback ‘sequences’ are really well done, which makes me believe there must be more than the one I’m already aware of, so this could very well be a flashback sequence to 1978, unless it’s going to be shot at night, then it could very well be for the 2020 film as there will be some original filming locations used in the new film but I won’t say no more than that!
There is no way that just ONE flashback scene is gonna be 20 minutes long.
I had a source fill me in also and there isn’t no 20 min fb scene. Let’s just put it like this it’s gonna be a very Interesting movie.

Something that was originally going to be done in the 2018 film which John Carpenter recommended they didn’t do and just jumped into it. So, apparently they’re using Halloween Kills as a chance to show this scene. Tbh, we’ll find out in October won’t we. Personally I hope I am wrong because I hate the sound of seeing him getting arrested. Yuck

Maybe all the FB scenes together total 20 mins, but there is no way in hell that just one FB is gonna be 20 mins long by itself.
