It’s a fur hair, but we worked with a manufacturer to create this fur for this exact purpose. Right now we’re getting fur done in a couple different shades for H2 Hair and H1 hair.

is there any specific reason you used fur hair for this new mask? do you do that with all the h6s or just this one?
it looks the best IMO. I know Terry used a different Fur on his 6’s. But this fur as you can tell is not the same kind of fur, this stuff is really expensive and thick and can be styled easy much like crepe hair. Ask Ron, he’ll tell ya and so will every Raining Red owner who has this fur hair it just rocks!
I know some mask makers use Crepe on their 6’s and that gives off a great look too. I will do other hair if asked, but nobody has ever complained or asked for different hair, so if it aint broke…dont fix it
I understand, I just didnt know if you used it because of its look or as the easy alternative. All of the movie masks were done with layers of hair rather than fur, but a lot of replica 6 masks looks great with the fur, too. I suppose its just up to the customer, which in that case, Im sure you can do it either way.

so far every request has been “make it look like this one, or that one” if i end up getting a rehair on an H6 which i have done plenty of lol, it’s usually they want to switch from the Crepe or other types of hair to the dark thick fur that they have seen on the more recent 6’s i use now.
