Hey Friendos

We’ve all seen plenty of movies out there with serial killers and all, but not many remind us of our favorite Killer Michael Myers. My question: is there
any and if any Serial killers in movies that remind you of Michael Myers? if so why?

My choice: Mr. Anton Chigurh from “No Country for Old Men”

and could this be Michael’s expression under that mask when he’s chocking someone

Chigurh definitely reminds me of Myers. They both represent death and evil…the human representation of murderous rage.

the killer from disturbia!!
always thought he actually played one!! :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
marcus

I’d have to say Leslie Vernon he basically idolized myers, kruger, and vorhees

How about 1989’s “Relentless” featuring Judd Nelson.

The part when he gets the girl hiding in the dryer with the Piano String is the Bomb!

Ghostface? Aside from the talking and running…cant think of many

Yul Brynner in Westworld. Inhuman, relentless, no emotion.

Oh jeeze. There was this Law & Order SVU ep years back. Kyle MacLachlan was in it as a child shrink. Anyway, in the ep a kid kill’s Kyle’s son by stuffing rocks down this throat. Now, might not seem overly Myeresque, but, the killer kid was, to me, the ideal version of a young Michael Myers. A suburban white bred boy who was born really really bad. Loved nothing more than to see the life choked out of another human being.

The mechanical assasins in H3

Conal Cochran wanted a legion of boogeymen
Their strength didn’t live up to the shape since true evil is a natural force not mass produced :smiling_imp:

My god I love that movie!!!

Awesome choices guys, keep em coming.

That’s because much of the inspiration for the character was based on “The Gunslinger” from Westworld, per John Carpenter. For those who haven’t seen Westworld, you should check it out, he really was the original Terminator

Good point guys
James Cameron modeled the Terminator after seeing DW in H2.
I guess you can say the Temiantor was based on both.

I’ll drink to this! :drinkers:

can i drink to sumbody drinking to my quote??? Oh well here goes anyways haha :drinkers: :drinkers: :drinkers:

You are spot on fangface and what a top film.

D’oh…haha I saw Westworld after watching Halloween for years…so I was a little backwards on that one.

Cool trivia…that sounded familiar once you dropped some knowledge on me. LOL

I found a copy of Westworld on VHS at my local pawnshop and I must say WOW!! Im not usually one for older flicks like this but this movie was cool as hell.

Also I just watched a movie Called “Malevolence” It was a complete and total Halloween rip-off, The killer even wore overalls and carried the “lamson lookalike”
The funny thing was…The movie was awesome!! Great atmosphere, direction, etc. along with a few minor changes and obviously a Myers mask, This movie could have passed for a decent Halloween installment, Check it out. Made in 2004 and released by Anchor bay.

Does anyone remember the name of the Chuck Norris movie where there is a genetically enhanced killer who wears a blue jumpsuit and doesn’t speak? The guy is super strong and hard to kill? Or am I dreaming this

ok, nevermind, I just found it. Silent Rage was the movie. Actually pretty good as I remember if you like hokey Chuck Norris action movies.
