My story is this…
As some of you know, I started my interest in HALLOWEEN early. From the age of 5, I loved HALLOWEEN franchises. I started my HALLOWEEN addiction with Halloween 6 The Curse. I thought it was the best movie ever made. Then I bought all the other dvds of Halloween on my own birthday (my mother always was confused because I used my 200 dollars to buy Horror movies than buy a big electronic car or a nice toy) Through the years, I’ve been searching for an accurate mask that had the feel to it. My mom bought me two Don Post Myers Masks, but I never liked them. It never caught my eyes. I would put on my dvds, and compare the looks to them, but of course all Don post masks are not accurate at all! So once I was on youtube, and I saw GoBears collection, i was like WOW. Those are beautiful! So I read through all those comments, and I finally found a link…it said www.Michael-Myers.net … that was the starting of my addiction of masks xDD
well, a long time back i was a member of IMDB movie forums, in the rob zombies halloween and TCM section. I met my buddy Ryanchaos322 there, and we became friends. If my memory serves me right he was to thank for me meeting donnie, and donnie thanks to meeting tommy, then i got my first masks and found this site. The rest is cheezy “ORLY” history hahahahaha
I was looking for a good accurate myers mask a few years back and stumbled on it during a google search. I lurked as a guest for some time before actually joining.
I’ll make this short. I use to hang out on MMP website a lot (I know ) then one day I found a link on their board and it was like the gates of heaven opened up. So I checked the threads off and on for a year or so before I decided to join. So I have to give thanks to MMP even though their business practices were not very kosher.
I was a member over at The Dented Helmet (star wars costuming board) but i had always been a fan of myers and loved the look of the cinema secrets myers mask. So one day i put an ad in their classified asking if anyone has one or any leads to where i could get one. The next day i had a message, and i still have that message saved and it said:
Interested, most people found it on Google
I think Google was a place I didn’t see MM.net because I didn’t search for it for a long time, and that’s cool that GoBears our own Mod showed us the heavens
I’m glad I was/am able to help a few members find there home here.
I get pm’s over on youtube ALL the time.
I usually guide them this way because I always get that infamous question, “So, I was wondering were you got all those masks from?”
If I had a buck for everytime I was asked that question over there, I’d be rich!
