I knew he was super skinny and figured he was around 5’11" which he confirms. He says now he is closer to 5’10". That is always something that struck me. You have two types of mask collectors. Those who want an accurate mask to display. Then there are those that want to the costume down to every specific detail.
I have seen so many people go overboard about the brand of kitchen knife and the perfect jungle boots. They go to all of these lengths in getting the details right but forget they may not look like Nick Castle. That’s great if you have the best mask, boots, and coveralls, but if you are 5’7" or 215lbs you will never look like The Shape.
There is a particular body type to play Freddy, or Jason, and even Michael Myers. I guess if you are going to spend thousands of dollars on getting the costume right you should definitely look like Nick Castle in 1978. Thats just my two cents.
This is true I feel to a certain extent but don’t agree with 100 percent . In regards to the weight obviously if you are talking about being over 200lbs while having a short height yea that’s not gonna look right but you can be under 5"10 and still pull off the look .that’s why there’s a thing called shoe lifts. Maybe u heard of them? Dick Warlock actually wore them in halloween 2…because he was 5"9 and wore the show lifts to make him taller in scale and I think it’s safe to say he pulled off the look in regards to height just fine with the show lifts. He didn’t look like a midget Shaoe lol
But seriously, people on this website would be SHOCKED if they realized how little the general population cares about how Michael looks/acts. Most people see me walking at a normal pace and they’ll tell me “Michael doesn’t walk that fast” or “Michael’s coveralls are blue not green” and I’m just facepalming myself the entire night, because they have no idea I’m almost religious about the first movie lol
