Q: In HALLOWEEN 6, the “Thorn” symbol tattooed on Michael’s wrist is fully explained, but I am wondering if in H5 there was another purpose for this symbol. Jamie seems to be psychically connected to Myers… was this part of your vision of what Thorn was?
DOMINIQUE: Jamie is psychically connected to Myers, even by genes if I recall well. I unfortunately have not seen H6 and don’t know how they interpreted the “Thorn”.

I thought that the mask at the beginning of H5 was another unknown mask for the stunt (when Myers is getting out of the water)
Have you got a screencap, because the wet mask is so strange.
Sort answer; because the film was made at a time when Moustapha and others had NO idea how much the die-hard fans paid attention to things like the details of the mask. Remember, this was before Internet…before we could instantly analyze pics online, discuss the masks in detail with each other very easily, etc. They had NO idea how devoted most of us are and thus probably thought no would would notice let alone care.
The movie is a cheese-fest but I actually did like the mask (very creepy) and I also liked Shanks as Myers.
I would have been curious to see what the original story was for Halloween 5 before Dominique (geez, sounds like a gay hair dresser 
) got a hold of it.
Halloween 5 was bad but there have been worse installments…Resurrection and now the turd-fest known as H2.
One thing Halloween 5 got right is at least it felt like Fall and the Halloween holiday. Of course we can’t forget the 69 Camaro either!!
Take away Tina, the mute kid, the “connection” between Jamie and Michael, the “keystone” cop skit, Michael crying, the Man in Black and the movie wouldn’t be so bad. Actually that wouldn’t leave but about 10 minutes of film! When I saw this installment I would have NEVER believed the worse was yet to come! 
You think? The leaves are all green, etc. Compared to ‘Halloween 4’, it has no autumn feel at all.
Well first of all he changed masks because he wanted to look more metrosexual in H5. Second only three people I know like H5, So its kind of irrelevant. Third Michael died after H2. H4 thru RZ H2 is a figment of your imagination. They used the oldest trick in the book on you, The Jedi mind trick!
