It’s kinda weird livin in Haddonfield Never thought I would ever get a chance to say that but it’s finally come true… and it’s been a long journey getting here. Some of you may know that I’ve been laying low in collecting for the past 2 years and this is the reason why.
It all started when I came out for the H30 convention. I was walking down the alley way behind the Elrod house w/ Mr. Warlock and my group when I got a crazy idea. …what if I moved here? It seemed like an insane idea at first, but the more I started to think about it…the more it seemed like I had to do it. It felt like that feeling you get when you know you NEED to get a certain mask. It was similar to when I was on the hunt for a 75 kirk. So moving there became my next hunt.
To make a long story short, things fell into place over the next couple of years and my wife and I moved from Des Moines, IA to South Pasadena CA. Not an easy thing to do. Finding a place in So Pas wasn’t all that easy either. It took a long time finding that perfect place, but I’m happy to say that I live only a couple houses away from the Myers house. It is definitely surreal waking up in Haddonfield everyday.
With all the Halloween locations set aside… So Pas is a wonderful “small town-mom & pop shop-famers market-say hi to your neighbor”-type of place. Which is exactly my kind of place. I’ve been here for 2 weeks now and still getting settled in, but it’s good to finally have this checked off my list. Looking forward to all the Halloween parties in store for the future.
congrats on the big move, ive moved about tree times in the last 2 years so i know how hard it is to get situated, but you moved to such a kickass place. good luck with everything
Thanks timbs2007, Myers N San Diego, dadrinnin, James, Ryn, & blackesteyes8696. Forgot to mention that there will be pics coming very soon, once I find my camera in one of these boxes.
That is ABSOLUTELY the coolest thing that I have heard!!When the wife and I went to the 30 Years of Terror convention,I too fell in love with S. Pasadena and wanted to move there. It would be way too cool to be close to the locations but I did love S. Pasadena for all that it is.Would love to make that move but cannot due to my job.
Thanks again Randy, Nightmarejoe, Jon, Testuya, strangerathome, Paul, and Myersh20. One little known fact, I was surprised to see that the city just recently repaved the Speed Kills street. Goodbye original pavement.
