Between a nag nightmare or a nag cover? I’m wanting a good h1 mask…

The Nightmare is by far the more accurate mask. One of, if not THE most accurate mask around…
definetely the nightmare,or h78,cant go wrong with either,the nightmare actually came from a recasted kirk i believe,and h78 is extremly accurate,hope this helps.

You are absolutely right about the Nightmare’s origin. It comes from an original recasting of a '75 Kirk, as stated in the gallery.

Oh yes I would go with the Nightmare for sure.
Id have to disagree not because I own the Cover but because Ive seen alot of inconsistent nightmare copies. An excellent pull of the nightmare + a JC or AHG finish is unbeatable, but the H4 cover sculpt itself is more accurate out the box. Then again is my oppinion, I personally like the look of the Cover mask better than a nightmare…thats not to say I dont admire a JC or AHG converted copy of the nightmare, one of the best masks around period.

I’m not sure what the member who posted the previous comment about inconsistent Nightmares meant… Every copy of Nik’s reshaped Nightmare has been a stand out mask. Maybe other mask maker’s Nightmares have been inconsistent but every copy of Nik’s reshaped Nightmare has looked outstanding.

Im not saying Nik is putting out inconsistent nightmares. Im just saying the copies I have seen “unconverted” so far have looked good, very good, or not as good. You own a converted Nightmare dont you?, can you please post a picture of a nightmare straight from Nik? I already stated that a Nightmare converted by JC or AHG is unbeatable, but without the conversion they are not very appealing to me. Thats all i said and that is my oppinion only not a fact.
To the OP just go with whatever mask you want, all of Niks masks are great and have excellent potential.
I think they both have a great look to them for sure.
The cover gives off a creepy vibe for sure, there’s just something about the nightmare.

Yeah, each artist has his own style… It’s cool how much different a certain style can make a mask look isn’t it?
