I think I may have found a solution for the coveralls problem.
Get some coveralls that look close enough to the ones in the original movie in terms of style and color and send them to someone who can tailor, rehaul and weather them to look like the ones in the 1978 movie.
There’s a woman who makes Freddy Krueger sweater replicas, so I don’t think it should be too difficult to find someone who can tailor Michael Myers coveralls.
Kurse Killer does some amazing weathering of coveralls, from Red Kap to Big Macs, he’s got you covered in all styles from H1 to even H2 with the bullet holes.
I’m currently making tech packets off original sears tradewears and having a few clothing manufacturers send me examples before we start production them.
That and we’re color matching currently. I’m probably going to do 3 colors so people have an option, but idk about that yet.
I do know it’ll be the same material build up of the original sears tradewears, 65/35 poly cotton.
It’ll be a little while guys haha, sorry! I have some other projects to do first but in the meantime these are a spare project. Tech packets are very detailed and hard to create, as I’ve found out .
It’s alright, brother! I’m betting it’s gonna look fucking awesome, especially with weathering, and at such a cheap price too… it’d be like getting the actual coveralls from an ebayer who doesn’t care or know about it for $20
I just got my spruce green red Kaps in today. There is a woman here in my town that is a seamstress and would not be hard for her to make a chest pocket flap.
