First of all I would like to thank Donnie for being a great help and sharing my enthusiasm. Donnie, you are the man I had a great time in South Pasadena and managed to visit the Myers house, hardware store, the hedge, and the Strode’s house. I wish I could have done more but just those few places were amazing experiences. The owner’s of the Hedge were very friendly and let me take quite a few leaves back home with me The owner’s of the Strode house were beyond cool…keep in mind I did not meet them but when you see the pictures you will understand. Great pictures man, and yes, that is very cool of the owners of the Strode house to leave that on the porch so people don’t feel like their intruding. Very nice of them.
That is fantastic that you had such a good time. When I drive up for Monsterpalooza this weekend I’m going to stop off and check it out. It’s 2 hours from me and I haven’t been in years. Your pictures have inspired me.

fantastic photos, man. glad you were able to get over there. i’ve gone over so many times to look at the Myers house, i really need to track down the rest of the locations. so the strode house residents really had a sign on their porch with a community pumpkin for fans who wanted to take photos? just set up all the time? that is beyond awesome.
I was out in San Diego last year visiting a friend for a few days and thought of taking the trip up there to check things out. Unfortunately we never did. Damn it!
that was really awesome bud, thats the first time i ever really like got the feel of a halloween movie by the pics…i never can see it in peoples photos when they visit these places until now…i guarentee they replace those pumpkins alot if yo uyknow what i mean
