Lookin good Kris. What is your opinion on the quality of the hair on this copy? I upgraded to the same stuff.

Thanks Jason. It may not be as easy to stylize and matte down as mohair, but the look and feel of the material is truly vintage. It is definately reminiscent to that 70’s DP hair and really sets the mask off nicely. I may be a mohair man, but I think this hair gives it more of an authentic look.

I love the texture nik put on this sculpt…Ive always thought the darker colored kirks look so much more authentic and vintage…You have yourself one killer kirk.Congrats

Great looking shots Kris,the Gloss and Tan Colour really give so much character to the finish in this copy,and that hair certainly screams Vintage 75 Kirk to me man. :rock:

I dont have words for this, it’s perfect, the only thing is hairline could be better, but as far as sculpt goes, it can’t be better

Those comparison shots are unreal. If the finish had less of a shine, and the hair line was adjusted a tad it would be really hard to tell the difference between the two. :open_mouth:

I actually knocked a lot of the gloss off the mask with a scour pad and after a hair cut and a shave, the mask actually fits me perfectly, so I will have to retract my too small comments. :laughing: The detail in the mask is phenomenal. After answering several questions via PM, it has come to my attention that a LOT of you gents already have one of these masks on order. This is quickly shaping up to be a popular mask indeed!

Here is a higher quality display shot that is more typical of my current display work. AND a worn shot to prove it actually fits like a glove! :mrgreen:
