Honestly, I felt my previous pictures of this mask flat out sucked! Therefore, I figured I owed it to this mask, Nik, and the board to do this fantastic piece the justice it deserves. I am happy to say that I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I too have a video for all you video fans, I just need to figure out how to rotate it. Until then, enjoy!
I wouldn’t say they sucked because I do not think you can take a bad pic of this beauty, but these really showcase this work of art. That hair is just INSANE!!!
Great shots! Makes me almost wish I had a Kirk finish and not an H1 (almost) joking! But seriously that is an amazing piece bro. What I like most is that we are able to see what all those lucky children in the late 70’s were able to get their hands on!
Much appreciated fellas! I’m just overly critical of the pictures, I take. I hate posting pics that do a piece a disservice. I’m anal when it comes to quality and my initial batch of pics had always bothered me. I’m simply happy I was able to capture the detail of this mask as I see it through my own eyes as opposed to an often finicky camera lens. I am having trouble rotating the video file, so I may be sending it to someone this evening to rotate for me if I can’t get a program to work.
I agree Matt that the JA75 looks more like a piece you would purchase off the shelf in comparison to the pristine, high end look of the 2k. However, I still believe the 2k to be the most accurate Kirk replica to date.
Kris, nothing wrong with being a perfectionist , but your last pictures were close to it. These new pics are even better, and this is a hell of a mask you have my friend. I honestly think that is the best kirk replica I have ever seen.
