Just gotta say this in response to this once again useless statement:

THE EARS ARE THE EXACT SAME SIZE, SHAPE AND PLACEMENT AS THE DW/KH MASKS!!! NOTHING IS DIFFERENT THERE. THEY WERE JUST CLEANED UP A BIT, NOT MOVED. AND THEY ARE IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT AS THE HERO, AS KEN USED THE MEASUREMENTS FROM DICK’s H2 WHEN SCULPTING THE ENTIRE MASK.
The funny thing is, those members that make these ‘definitive’ calls on a piece in a ‘matter of fact’ fashion, like making a call on something but not saying, ‘imo’, but rather saying ‘this is wrong’ or ‘the ears on the mask ARE too high’, just prove how ignorant they really are. What I find hilarious is that I can guarantee that if by some miracle, someone had the HERO mask, and it was in great shape, and it was posted here saying that it was an original sculpt, these guys would be the first to make their statements that it’s ‘off’ or the placement of certain features ‘aren’t even close’. I didn’t realize that these guys all have, at one point or another, seen and studied the HERO mask, and have measurements and detailed pictures to back up their points. 
Well, the only 2 guys that I know of that have seen, held and studied the HERO are Ken Hertlein and myself. And on top of seeing and studying it, Ken had other reference that no one has ever had when he sculpted the DW/KH, as he was working with the owner of the mask, Dick Warlock.
I gotta agree with Jon here, when he said that some people will never be happy.
Having seen ‘first hand’ the HERO, and having held it in my paws in Warlock’s home, other than the fact that it was suffering from ‘mask rot’ around the neck, and showing some cracking, BOTH Ken’s DW/KH and the KH SLE NAIL the look of the 75 KIRK both in H1 & H2. It’s all in how it’s painted, weathered and stuffed.
BTW - Believe me when I say that I honestly couldn’t give a rat’s ass about the ‘huh?’ expression comment. THAT is YOUR opinion, which of course you are MORE than entitled to. I, along with a whole bunch of other guys here just don’t get what the hell you’re talking about. Like I said, I guess the HERO mask has a ‘huh?’ expression to it then. Your comment has NOTHING to do with being honest, it’s just another ‘opinion’.
That being said, this is why once these are done, Ken is finished with the ‘Myers’ scene. He went through all this shit 7 years ago with the ‘Signature’ mask, and once again, reading all of this crap, it’s just a big turn-off. WAYYYY too much drama. It’s like being back in Grade School. So that’s it.
For all the boys getting one, you WILL be satisfied with this piece. It IS the closest you will get to owning the HERO as it looked in H2. That is a FACT, btw, not an opinion. Otherwise, Dick Warlock is wrong too when he said that it was BANG ON.

You know, instead of just screaming up and down saying “this is right! this is right!” you can just as easily post a little comparison pic that you can make with the already many pictures of the KH and your sculpt. Hell, there are alot of the profile pics of the 75 Kirk as well.
