I have a story from my childhood that’s both true and hilariously memorable. My older sibling owned a mask from Halloween 4 that resembled the iconic Vincent drugstore style—creepy beyond belief. Its hollow eyes and expressionless face sent shivers down my spine, filling me with a mix of fascination and dread. I remember being tiny, overwhelmed by the sheer terror of the mask, which I was strictly forbidden to touch. Even though I knew deep down that my older sibling wasn’t Michael Myers, every time they donned that mask and slipped into those tattered coveralls, I would be paralyzed with fear. It haunted my dreams and played a significant role in shaping my artistic sensibilities, contributing to the delightful madness that now defines my creativity.
Dude…you should either A) write slasher horror novels or B) seek serious psychiatric help.
Can’t say which one I’d hedge my bets on just yet

that’s a cool story man, it seems like most of our love for Micheal Myers stems from childhood memories. When I was 11 we were trick or treating, we were about done for the night but before we went home my dad pointed to the street and standing there was a Michael Myers cosplayer, he looked so similar to Nick Castle in both his build and head SHAPE, I wanted to get a picture with him but I was too shy but not scared at all, that was one of the most awesome experiences I’ve ever had and a core memory.
What made it all the more unsettling was the way my oldest sibling would set the scene, recounting chilling snippets from the Halloween films with a dramatic flair that sent a shiver down my spine. Just as the tension in the room peaked, my other sibling would emerge from the shadows, clad in the ominous mask of Michael Myers. The moment I caught sight of that cold, emotionless face, a wave of sheer terror washed over me, and I felt my heart race as panic seized me, leaving me completely frozen in fear. TALK ABOUT

Only messing…great story. I was reading up recently on the inspiration for Freddy from the elm street series. I dont know why your story reminded me…maybe it was the fear factor but the story behind the character was pretty interesting to say the least.

I love Dick Warlock he’s probably my second favorite Myers right next to JJC. His shorter height and more robotic movement never bothered me. And those scenes where you could just seeing him creeping around on the camera’s are awesome.
Yeah he was still great…I just preferred the fleet footed phantom that was Nick castle
