Thank you. I really think this highlights how good the HMK could really be with the right makeover.
Its a literal travesty that the latex was so bad on the majority of these. I mean does anyone anywhere still own one in decent condition?

I sold one a year ago(ish). Completely original. Latex was soft and supple. Medium/thick pull.
Waaayyy too small for cosplay. Even on my tiny 22.5" head, that mask was terribly tight.

Wow thats a great copy…its actually real nice seeing one and knowing its still in great condition.
I wonder why this had better latex? I noticed with mine…quite a while before it started to get brittle that it was very hard to keep its shape. I had to spend a lot of time stuffing it out and then one day the eye cuts started to sag 
…the rest you know.

There’s a guy on Facebook that has a blank. Uncut. He plans to make a kirk out if it. I asked to buy it so I’d have the pair, but he declined.
There are a handful that seem to have held up.
Hoffman must have used various latexes as cash flow came and went. The copy I owned could have been poured a week ago, it was so soft. Never had any issues with holding its shape, though.

I so wish mine had quality latex like yours…that HMK was seriously in my top 4 of masks ever owned.
Its a real bummer he wouldn’t sell it to you…I (as many others I’m sure) would have loved to have seen that all over this board
