Thanks for the compliments y’all - but I have to forward all the kudos to AHG-Mike. He got the idea to make one of these, & I sent my flawed blank to him & this was the result. Turns out that a semi-flawed blank & the AHG-touch is exactly what I hoped would make my idea of the ideal Tramer.
Thanks again, for the props, everyone! Go Nik & Mike!!!
It has been posted that Rob Thorp of Don Post Studios said a light blue paint was used.
My own personal opinion is the lighting from the film caused the blue look or at least enhanced it, and I prefer a more white Tramer with maybe some very subtle light blue tones.
Not sure where this white hair thing is coming from, but I’m sure it is blonde. A blonde Kirk.
He is not wearing coveralls, but a coach’s style windbreaker. Again, I believe it is royal blue with the low light making it appear darker, or you might decide it is really navy blue.
Here is a pic of my jacket, and while I do love Allhallow’s Tramer and its accuracy, I also very much enjoy Beckstrom’s version (Pictured below).
Mask makers aren’t always in line with everyone’s perception, a very light blonde (cottontop) looks white or could, i guess, be called white, but I don’t think the hair was white. Kirk blonde.
I would probably disagree to the hair having spraypaint in it.
Yeah true…i only thought up the spray paint theory due to what they did to the hero’s hair…because in the movie it doesnt look like plain kirk hair…kirk hair seems to be a bit more colorful … if you know what I mean.
That depends on the Kirk and the lighting. I see what you are getting at, I just don’t see any signs of paint in the hair when I look at screencaps. I think it is Kirk hair.
In the Rick Rosenthal version and also the “Novel” released version of “Halloween II” you are lead to believe that “Michael Myers” died after getting hit by the police car. You’re lead to believe ‘Myers’ is not alive until he kills the TV Reporter and drives to the hospital. The John Carpenter re-shoots completely destroyed the original version of “Halloween II”; this movie was completely re-worked in the editing room into what you see today and is entirely different than what was originally intended. If you pick up the novel, it’s pretty much right on to the original script because that was what was sent to the book company before the Carpenter re-shoots.
There is an entirely different version of Halloween II out there, just get the novel and read it.
Wow I had no idea I had such a “publically considered” nice Tramer! I mean, I know I consider it awersome, I no way claim it THE absolute portrayal of the Tramer…just ONE of (Sorry, humor made me do it )
Thanks again all of you - I’m glad to know I’ve got at least one mask that makes the highlights of this great crowd’s attention
And, thanks again, DC - I wanna own that En -Eye- En- Eight one of these days, Brother We need to work something out there if at all possible
Thanks again y’all - Nik, Mike, Justin…ALL these Tramer reps are “Natural Born Kill…” (interupted by deputy’s killer cop-car )
Props to all the AWESOME Tramer masks out here - let’s all keep it alive be it w/ JC Myers/Tramer or RZ Myers or Cochran or WHATEVER!!!
i knew this would be a good positive thread…see this is the family we really are!! rock on bridge and all you guys who replied keep it going…whatever you know or have questions about tramer!
