I have my 05 stuffed with bags on a stand in a closet with no dampness or light. It is a thick pull but my other copy a little less thick. I’m hoping the plastic bags still will work as I’ve heard it is a preference issue with foam heads vs bags
I own an NHK Halloween 2 #1 and NHK Halloween killer # 170 something. They are both about 8 years I old. I have kept them displayed as best I could on plastic wig heads in a cool dry display case. I’ve worn them a few times and followed the cleaning instructions to the letter. Sadly they are both deteriorating. The H2 was a very thin pull to begin with, it’s really stretchy and mishapen (No punn intended)The NHK killer was a bit thicker, but has suffered the same fate. The same happened to my HSS Devious which is about 12 years old. I can’t explain it. I have a MM-78 mask that was done by J.C. and I wear it every Halloween and it’s about 10 years old and still going strong. Strange.
I just buy the cheap tots type and replace every couple years. They look good enough and everyone knows I’m Michael Myers… which is the point. I love looking at the pricier ones but I’ll never buy one. If I would have had one it would have been destroyed in the hurricane we had about a month ago. Just not worth the worry for me.
