Loleta Halloween III Shamrock Factory Bricks (updated)

Hey folks,
For those that didn’t know, I was the guy who sold the Shamrock Factory bricks on ebay. Well I decided to make another trip to Loleta a few days ago, and this time I got some video (and more brick pieces).

I scoured the building for probably an hour looking for bricks- I didn’t find any complete ones but did get some nice pieces. My hands were raw by the time I was done and came to the conclusion that the majority of the building is pretty rock solid. Unless you have a jackhammer you’re not going to pull much out so consider these to be the last of them. There were some areas near the upper part of the building that looked loose but those were way too high, probably 20-60 feet up in places.

Anyways I did get a cache of brick pieces and will probably sell them here (aside from a couple), I just have to get the mortar off and put together a little package for them. Pics and info will come soon, but until then enjoy the video.

I compiled the video with some photos I took over the last 6 years from past trips and made this little trip through Loleta:

Very cool stuff. :sunglasses:

That was awesome man, Thanx for sharing.

Is that building vacant now?

So cool and thanks for sharing :open_mouth: Question though. What do people think when your taking bricks out of thier building… . Are you like all “stealth” about it or do you just walk up and start prying bricks out of the foundation? Does anyone question what your doing and if they do are you just like…“can I help you”? :finga:
Anyway…Very cool and keep the video’s coming!!
Nick

No, it’s stealthy Mission Impossible type stuff.

It’s an abandoned building so nobody seems to care much. There’s really only one wall where bricks are loose and that’s on the side of the building on a platform where nobody really goes, so it’s not much of a problem. It’s also a kind of hazardous spot to walk around because the platform is really unstable. I mainly look for loose bricks and tried prying once but the mortar is way too solid. I was lucky to find what I did this time around.

Oh…Ok. I wasn’t sure if there was even anyone hanging around there anymore. I’ll have to make a trip out there someday.
Thanks!
Nick
