How much did you send him and what method did you use? If he has gone ghost on you I would open a case with PayPal. Hoping you used Goods & Services because normally artists donât just disappear. Sorry youâre dealing with this
Oh shit, sorry that you have to deal with this guy. And future do people usually use goods and services? Because in the past I was going to make a deal with someone who was going to have me use family and friends but I turned it down because I needed money for a couple things.
Heâs stayed in contact with me via text message, though he has had plenty of delays. He does good work and I truly hope he pulls through. I also checked with a couple reputable members on here (mods) and they stated that he had âcleaned up his actâ. I texted with him yesterday morning as well.
If you pay with friends and family there is no fee for the transaction but no one as to dispute the transaction. If you use pay for goods there is a fee that is taken out of the money (I donât remember the percentage off hand) and that fee should be covered by the buyer. If you use goods payment you can dispute the transaction if the sale goes south.
Yeah brother ALWAYS use Goods & Services. The only exception is if youâre actually sending cash to family members or dealing with a personal friend. I used it to purchase my original Maniac because Iâd done business with the member before but Friends & Family is very tricky because you cannot open a case with PayPal in the case of fraud
The fee is only 3% and well worth it especially when it comes to tangible items like masks. Plus it forces them to add tracking and relieves all potential stress as a buyer. Even as a seller itâs nice to use, Iâd rather pay a few dollars than deal with the headache
Friends and family is basically just what it sounds like. Giving money to friends and family. But on the flip side paying goods and service only covers you so long from sending the money so some of these arts wait time will go past that time that PayPal will cover you
