Mask makers, rehaulers can I ask a question?

If I were ever to begin seriously rehauling masks again, I would just complete them and sell on ebay/classifieds. Let the market determine what your work is worth. Some rehaulers actually sell themselves short with what they charge anyway (JC and others).

Look at Nick Mulpagano. I have my spot paid for so he can do a Kills rehaul for me. He charges $300. He rehauled a mask and but it on ebay with a bidding option and it fetched $1700

Yes, this is exactly my point. Nick knows this as well - just look at what the proto of his book cover mask did. I was talking to JC about it the other day too.

Im not the person that will ever dispute prices. The artists have the skill. I dont. I have no issue with wait times, I just wish that part was communicated much clearer. The experience I had made me just sell my spot in line. The 5-6 month wait I was quoted could have turned into 2 years for all I know and this was a studio we have all probably heard of.

Ya unfortunately this happens and probably the best thing to do is just buy second hand if you want something faster - but that drives up the market price.
