Mask Thickness for dummies !

Hello everyone !

I need someone who could give me basic notions about Mask thickness.

Are there definite standards ?

What is taken in consideration for determing a mask thick or thin ?

Is there an appropriate terminology ?

Thanks so much for your kind help !

Wish I could help.

I noticed that almost all screen used masks are paper thin so thats what I prefer when I look for thickness.

That’s what she said!!!

o

Most of the 70s Don Post masks I have are pretty thin
about 1/16" of an inch thickness

By comparison, my CGP Warlock is about 1/8th" thick around the neck and slightly thicker around the facial features and eye cuts. As much as I love my Warlock, I feel it is a little too thick in terms of screen accuracy.

for kirk’s, myers, and vintage don post…i like thin pulls

for like jason masks I’d like thick pulls

For accuracy, I say almost paper thin - although I only own one that actually is that thin.
