well after about 3 days i finally finished the 4 1/2 doc and special features from RZ Halloween very awesome BTW
one part caught me off guard during the parole hearing when Ismael & Noel bring michael down the long hall into the meeting room where Morgan Walker (Udo Kier) Larry Redgrave (Tom Towles) & Doctor Koplenson (Clint Howard) are and Morgan Walker picks up michael’s file and says something like the case of Michael ??? Myers I caught something but couldnt understand what he said so i hit rewind a few times then i put the subtitles on and thats what it said Michael Audrey Myers … now im wondering if this is why this scene got cut because of the middle name
Audrey is Michael’s middle name according to the TV version of the original.

IMO i feel like it was never mentioned much so people wouldnt start saying michael audrey myers rather than just michael myers which is clearly much more effective as a horror movie icon…just MO

Also, I liked that Zombie brought back the use of his last name… brings more of a human interface to Michael… in H2, god I almost felt sympathetic towards him.

but no he had that middle name in 1978. there are two additional scenes in the t.v version, one scene in the beginning, loomis has a meeting with two judges (i believe) to appeal their decision to transfer Michael to smithsgrove. ofcourse its denied and they transfer him but in that scene they call him by full name…Michael Audrey Myers.
well that would make total sense because it sounds like they were recreating that scene
actually rob slightly changed his middle name in the original it was adrian not audrey
